After the Birth

Pēpī and Tamariki Services

Turuki Health Care offers whānau wellbeing services through our Kahu Taurima team to help you feel supported as you settle into this new chapter.

Through Turuki your whānau can access:

​

  • B4Baby - breastfeeding education, antenatal sessions, and home visits to support māmā up to six months postpartum.

  • Hapū Wānanga - one-day antenatal education classes focusing on natural, whānau-centred birth and early parenting.

  • Poipoia te Mokopuna - programmes for tamariki aged 0–3, helping whānau nurture learning, connection, and growth in the first years.

  • Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) - parenting strategies and support for whānau with children up to 12 years.

  • Start Well - support for young māmā and their whānau from pregnancy through early parenthood.

  • Tupuranga Ake - early childhood education navigation for tamariki aged 3–5 who are not yet enrolled in ECE.

Visiting hours
To help new mums get the rest they need, visiting hours are from 2pm to 8pm.
